Candace Owens wants the US to send troops to Canada. While this is of course of great concern to Canadians like myself, it is unlikely at this point that such an attack could materialize before the next American presidential election. It might, however, present a more immediate danger for Americans.
To understand why, you’ll need a little background, so bear with me.
To say that Canada’s been under the spotlight lately would be an understatement. We’re in a state of emergency; a group of dissatisfied Canadians drove across the country with demands for the federal government, and more specifically our Prime Minister. They called themselves the “Freedom Convoy”.
Their aims were broad and varied by participant, but what was clear is that anti-government sentiment was high.
